ROTTEN: In Pre-Production Mode

June 25, 2008

Dutch death metal act ROTTEN, which features members of RADICAL NERVE DISTORTION, REBORN and HACKSAW, has commenced pre-production for its forthcoming "Splatter Patterns" EP, which will be recorded this summer at Excess studios in Rotterdam, Holland.

Commented the band: "Before we start recording, we're going to create the most brutal sound possible so our tunes will beat any debut this year! Marco's drums are killer and he's doing some crazy shit. And Robb's vocals will scare the hell out of Chris Barnes!!"

ROTTEN recently uploaded a rehearsal version of a new song, entitled "HeadChopper", to its MySpace page. The studio version of this track will be on the "Splatter Patterns" EP.

ROTTEN can be heard on the "One Foot in Fire (Tribute to Cirith Ungol)" and "The Riddle Masters (Tribute to Manilla Road)" compilations, both on Solemnity Records, as well on "Blown to Pieces 4" (FearSome Records).
